"Hello, my name is Tony, and I use to hunt in Holly Springs national forest. I'm writing about the new atv regulations. No one I've talked to on the phone has been helpful. I use to hunt about 2 or 3 miles back in the forest with my bow and 38 lb. tree stand, since we can't leave tree stands in the forests any more and can't ride atv's in anymore it will be next to impossible for me to hunt back there anymore. Can you imagine lugging a climbing tree stand and bow gear in that distance in 80 to 90 degree weather? If you can you don't seem to care. Most of the deer I see and shoot are late in the evening, so if I shoot one it will be midnight before I can get out. Also we could get snake bit or break a leg. Somebody is trying to stop us from hunting and unfortunately it will work. I'll never get to show my kids the work of God the way I saw it. I keep hearing you're going to have atv trails that's fine and dandy for trail riders but we'll have 10,000 hunters in one area. My four wheeler tracks would be all but completely gone by the time deer season rolled around each year. I have enclosed just a couple of pictures of deer I have taken from this area and will never get to see again. Isn't there someone looking out for us hunters?
