"Served at FOCCPAC in the Personnel Office from 1968-70 when it was unknown or secret enoug that the transit personnel office at Pearl Harbor was unfamiliar with it and didn't know where to send me for an entire day. A civiian employee of the navy told them about it calling it the Kunia Tunnel. When visiting Oahu in the mid 1990's I noticed it was operated by the US Army and all vegetation around the tunnel entrance and area out to Hwy 750 had been removed so it was clearly visible from the highway."
